Diving and snorkeling

The dive sites around Krabi count towards the best of the world, mainly diving around the Phi Phi Islands or Hin Daeng and Hin Muang.

Snorkeling, scuba diving and fishing trips are organized from most beaches in Krabi and a multitude of dive operators compete with their offers.

Krabi Climbing

A half-day can be given to climbing up the Phra Nang massif to see the Princess Lagoon and the scintillating views across the karst landscape both inland and out to sea.

There are fixed ropes to assist you at the steeper points, but most of it is a forest hike. Access is at the south end of either Railay East or Phra Nang beach.

Krabi Kayaking

The southern part of Thailand is a paradise for seakayaking and canoeing.

This unique landscape in Asia is formed by remote limestone islands and offers breathtaking views of an environment alien to the western visitor - an environment which plays host to a rich variety of wildlife and an abundance of incredible tropical flora.

Krabi Sailing

Krabi, located in the Andaman Sea with its clear sparkling waters, is a natural base for sailing and yachting and offers accommodation facilities and yachting services of all kinds.

Sailing boats are available for charter at quite reasonable prices at nearly all of the beaches of Krabi. Some even offer facilities to share the cost and enjoyment of operating larger boats with several other sailors.

Krabi Trekking

Krabi has still a number of sizable rainforests, as well as lots more secondary tropical forest growth.

Jungle trekking in Krabi makes for an excellent option in the summer season from May to October, when the forests are at their greenest.
