Phra Nang Cave Beach is one of the famous beaches around Railay Beach, others are Tonsai (relatively quieter than other beaches), Railay West beach and Railay East beach. Phra Nang Cave Beach is also known as Phra Nang.

Phra Nang Cave Beach is situated on the main road of Ao Phranang (Ao Nang), the Phranang Place is an ideal base for tourists visiting to relax and enjoy their holidays in quiet surroundings but within walking distance to the beach and the shopping and entertainment offered at Ao Phranang (Ao Nang) Beach Promenade and the little further away Nopparathara Beach.
Travellers visiting Phra Nang Cave Beach by boat are amazed by this beautiful cove. Phra Nang is more popular and busier than Railay West, especially in high tourist season during Nov- April and has all the ingredients of a perfect beach like soft sand, clear and shallow water for safer swimming, a small island and coral reef, accessible at low tide, caves and rockpools against a backdrop of picturesque limestone cliffs that provide natural shade from the hot afternoon sun.
Tham Phra Nang Nok lies at the bottom of the limestone cliffs and also known as Princess Cave. Dedicated to an ancient fertility goddess, the cave contains a strange combination of large phallic symbols, garlands and offerings in the hope of increased potency and prosperity.
There is no accommodation on Phra Nang Beach except the deluxe Sheraton Rayavadeee hotel which unobtrusively occupies part of the beach.
The headland between Tham Phra Nang (Phra Nang Cave Beach) and Railey East harbours some particularly popular spots, with good climbing for both beginners and more experienced climbers. Guided climbs and instruction are available around most of the resorts and bungalows in Ao Nang and Railay East Beach.

Sea Kayaking is a great way to explore all the nooks and crannies around Railey. You can Kayak from one of Railay's beaches to another, or even to one of the islands nearby. Kayaks can be rented easily from Railay West and Phra Nang beaches
Thai Massage is available right on the beach, Tousists can find the areas set up in the shady areas. As the sun lowers in the sky games of beach soccer (Railey West Beach) and beach volleyball (Phra Nang Beach) commence, anyone can join in.
Some other very interesting activities you can choose from are jetskiing or parasailing, and sightseeing trip in a longtail boat during afternoon.
