Situated south of the bustling town of Phuket are the twin islands of Phi Phi. Offering the ultimate island adventure, the Phi Phi Island is famous for its collection of unspoiled sandy beaches and snorkeling and scuba diving sites.

Phi Phi Island is also the site of the Hat Noppharat Thara-Koh Phi Phi National Park and that further contribute to the popularity of the place. Not only pristine beaches, but Phi Phi Island also boasts of its collection of around 80 remote islands other than the primary two named Koh Phi Phi Don and Koh Phi Phi Ley (Le). Getting to the Phi Phi Island is another enthralling experience. Due to its location, the Phi Phi Island can only be accessed by boat. Getting to Phi Phi Island is convenient as boat services are available from Phuket, Chao Fah Bridge Pier of Krabi Town and the Ao Nang Beach. The best time of getting to Phi Phi Island is during the months of November to April.

For getting to Phi Phi Island from the Phuket Airport, tourists can avail a taxi to the Rasada Pier in Phuket Town. Ferry services are available from the pier up to the Phi Phi Island. Other routes that can be taken by visitors for getting to Phi Phi Island consist of the one leading from Krabi Airport, Chiang Mai, Bangkok and Kanchana Buri. For commuting, a number of vans and Taxis are available and tourists can even book one online.

For getting to Phi Phi Island from Koh Samui, visitors are asked to take the bus upto Surat Thani and change it to get on the bus to Krabi from where the journey to Phi Phi Island continues by boat. Tourists coming from Kanchana Buri or Chiang Mai are advised first to reach Bangkok via flight and then get to Phi Phi Island. However the most convenient way of getting to Phi Phi Island is from Bangkok. Flights are available in large numbers and so are trains and buses. The comfortable way of getting to Phi Phi Island is traveling by road in one of the government buses that go via Krabi.

For overseas visitors coming from Malaysia and Singapore, getting to Phi Phi Island is also easy. From the airport, you can avail a car or a taxi to reach either Phuket or Krabi from where Ferry Services are available to Phi Phi Island.
