Getting to Ao Nang
You need to get to Ao Nang as it is a glorious sunset blessed beach on the west coast of Krabi Province. From hear you gaze out at a horizon covered in small islands and sit right next to the famous Phra Nang where cliffs and climbers compete for the mastery of the heights.
Getting to Ao Nang in Krabi province is a straight forward process and can be done various planes, buses and boats. There is no train service in Krabi Province.
You are just 15 minutes from Krabi town and so it is easy to pick up a public transport local bus or taxi from there.
The Krabi ferries come in from Krabi town (mainly longtail boat) or Phi Phi Island.
Getting to Ao Nang from the Full Moon Party in Koh Phangan is a bit more complex and involves ferries to get off Koh Phangan and then Samui islands and then a bus from Surat Thani.
Flying down from Bangkok is straight forward with 4 flights day and this gets you to Krabi International Airport just 35 minutes from Ao Nang.
