We were aware that the hotel would still have some construction going on during our stay. We were more than compensated for this by the extras given, including an upgrade to a spa room, with our own jacuzzi on the balcony.
We loved our time there, and the odd inconvenience like getting your feet wet at Ao Nang because of the lack of a proper jetty, was more than compensated by having your own private boat (or so it seemed) to take you to nearby beaches and islands for the day.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, and it will be an excellent 5 star hotel when completed.
