Explore the Underwater

Krabi has a fascinating underwater life, complete with rock formations, caves, corals, huge variety of marine life and sometimes even dolphins are spotted. Do spend time in exploring the many caves and temples in and around Krabi. Tiger Cave temple is the most famous temple in Krabi; however other caves, such as Lod Cave and Pee Tho Cave are worth a visit too. Khao Kanab Nam another famous landmark of Krabi town, it is a rock formation. Do visit Klong Thom hot springs, a natural hot-tub and do visit the nearby emerald pool, situated in Khao Phra Bang Khram Nature Reserve.

Do spend a day or two in Thara Park, a huge natural reserve park, characterized by lush green mangroves, white sand beaches and limestone rocks. The many limestone rocks become an excellent place for rock climbing. There are also courses organized for beginners. Do visit Susan Hoi, a fossilized shell cemetery, situated within Thara Park. Thara Park has beautiful beaches and water bodies and is a paradise for any nature lover.
